Rob and Jenna’s wedding was a real Winter Wonderland event. A great deal of planning had gone into every aspect, from the decorations in the church to the table settings and bridesmaids dresses. For photography purposes, the day was split between four venues; the house where Jenna, her family and bridesmaids were getting ready, the local pub where Rob and his groomsmen were meeting for one last, swift pint before the ceremony, the church itself and, finally Great Hallingbury Manor for the reception. So a really full on day with lots of great venues and different shooting conditions.
The wedding itself was conducted in the local church on Hatfield Heath. This was a lovely building with lots of candles but very dark and no flash allowed during the ceremony – thank goodness for modern cameras and fast, prime lenses!
The weather was very kind to us on the day. It stayed dry and bright but was very cold, especially when the sun went down. Fair play to Rob and Jenna for being such good sports and braving a few shots in the grounds after dark!
Here are a few shots from throughout the day. There’s a full gallery in the client area but you will need login details from the couple to get in.
