Essex Engagement Photography – Mike & Amy

Last weekend I went out to a beautiful village on the outskirts of Colchester for Mike and Amy’s Essex engagement photography. We had originally planned to shoot this the weekend before but the weather had conspired against with rain and high winds. It turned out to be a good decision as the weather on the was gorgeous – bright blue skies and even the snowdrops had come out for us.

We found a really nice spot in the local woods with a pond, some old log piles and a bit of open shade. Murphy the dog seemed to approve and had a good rummage around and was very well behaved through the whole shoot. It was still a bit muddy so welly boots were very much the order of the day. Essex has some great countryside and this was no exception. We tried a few things out and having spoken to Mike they are really pleased with the results. I’m looking forward to the wedding day itself which is just next week at the lovely Fennes Estate. I thoroughly enjoyed our Essex Engagement Photography and can’t wait for the big day!
